Have you been to any good restaurants lately? If not, you must not be looking at the dining scene near your Louisville apartments. There’s a lot to love about the restaurants and fast-casual eateries in this neighborhood, so we decided to break it down for our residents. If you’re new in town, this blog can be your go-to resource for finding a new date night dining destination.
In the list below, we’ll be talking about four of the most popular restaurants near Echelon at Middletown. Whether you’re into the upscale ambiance of a wine bar or the low key vibes at a Mexican spot, we’ve got the restaurants you need to suit any occasion. Louisville’s restaurant scene is on the rise, so it’s time to get acquainted with it!
Without further delay, let’s dive right into this list of nearby restaurants. When you’re done reading this week’s post, be sure to share the link with your friends and neighbors at your community of apartments in Louisville, KY.
For happy hour wine and appetizers, look no further than the nearby LouVino Restaurant and Wine Bar. The bartenders and waiters are super knowledgeable about the wine selection, so we’ll leave the drink recommendations to them. We do have insights on the appetizers, however, and we have to recommend the wrapped dates for midday bites.
Most of the entrees at LouVino are handcrafted and upscale, but they’ve also got comfortable options like loaded tater tots and fried chicken tacos. If you come here for dinner, be sure to save room for dessert! The dessert menu is filled with delicious options like rhubarb tarts and cookie dough beignets.
Unlike a lot of seafood restaurants, Rumors doesn’t overwhelm its customers with high-end decor and a stuffy atmosphere. This is a clean, friendly restaurant that serves a variety of fried-seafood dishes, sandwiches and wings. We’ve heard good things about the po boy and the oysters, so give them a shot if you go! This is one of the few seafood spots that won’t charge you too much, so you should be able to enjoy a nice dinner for two with drinks for around $50.
The last restaurant on our list is ideal for a quick lunch with coworkers or a casual meal for two. El Nopal serves a variety of Tex-Mex cuisine that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Plus, their beer specials can’t be beat. You’ll get free chips and salsa at the beginning of your meal, but we recommend ordering a side of queso to pair with the chips. Although the prices are low, the service is top-notch. We love this place because their food comes out in huge portions, and every burrito, enchilada and taco is topped with tons of fresh veggies and house-made sauce.
Those are all the nearby restaurants we’ve got to talk about this week, residents!
