If you don’t have a go-to brewery in town, the staff at your Louisville apartments is here to help you discover your new favorite spot. This week’s blog post is all about the most popular breweries and brewpubs in town, and we hope you’re able to set aside some time this weekend to check out some of the spots on this list!
Whether you’re a beer connoisseur who’s looking for a new favorite lager ro you’re just hoping to hang out with friends at a friendly brewery, we think you’ll find your ideal spot on the list below. This town may be known for its bourbon, but Louisville can hold its own when it comes to beer as well! Without further delay, let’s take a look at the list of breweries below. When you’re done reading, please be sure to share the link to this post with your friends and neighbors at your community of apartments in Louisville, KY!
Not only does this place serve some of the best beer in Louisville, but they also do a great job of educating their guests on the Great Flood of 1937. There’s information about the floor all over the walls, and reading it is a great way to pass the time while you sip your beer. Great Flood Brewing is generous with their samples, so be sure to ask for a few before you decide which pint to order. This brewery doesn’t serve food, but patrons are encouraged to bring their own food or order food the brewery and hang out!
Here’s another brewery that encourages customers to bring food instead of serving it themselves. What they lack in food, however, they make up for in super unique beer. A lot of the beer at 3rd Turn Brewing is “experimental.” That means you might fall in love with a new flavor or you might discover your new least favorite beer — either way you’ll have a new experience.
Another thing we love about 3rd Turn Brewing is that it’s located inside of an old church! Seating options include bars, tables and couches. The atmosphere is quaint and a little funky, but what else would you expect in this town?
This friendly little brewery is dog-friendly (even indoors) and they usually have a food truck parked outside for hungry beer drinkers. The food truck options are always changing, but we’ve heard of FlavaVille and Longshot Lobsta making appearances before. As for the beer at Holsopple, you can’t go wrong with the dunkel or the blonde ale. Like any good craft brewery, Holsopple Brewing is super generous with their samples, so try a little bit of everything before you make your decision!
Those are all the breweries we’ve got to talk about this week, residents! As always, we greatly appreciate those of you that have been coming back week after week to read the latest blog posts from Echelon at Middletown. We hope that you get the chance to visit a few of these breweries in the near future, and that you have an absolute blast hanging out with your friends at these local Louisville watering holes.
